Kinja'd!!!

Trying to sell my grandfather's pickup. I put it on Craigslist for the price my grandfather wanted but even he has admitted it is too high. It runs great. He's replaced fixed and replaced anything that's needed it. Recently got a new fuel pump and steering rack.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Just wondering what oppo thinks would be a NP, not CP. Prices on ebay, autotrader, etc are all over the place.

While not a bad truck, its not all that special either. I'd say a fair price is probably $1600-$1800 or so.

I have no idea but I'll say this...extremely clean looking.

If I was still looking for a truck, I'd be interested. It looks in great shape. I don't think you are far off the mark (for at least what prices in my area are for pickups), there is no way the truck is worth less than $2250.

I'd say borderline NP. I'd list it at $2,900 to make it seem much cheaper to prospective buyers, while it's only $100 less.

CP.

For example I found this one my local CL. for 2750(which I still think is a little high) it's six years newer, it's an extracab, and has 60k miles less.

Best thing to do is just search for what you're selling on your local CL, and see what the prices are like. Know your market. take this one for example.

That's quite clean for a 26 year old Dakota. I'm impressed.

Realistically, you could list at $2200-2300. It's in clean enough shape that you could maybe get $2k for it. I would hazard a guess that the $1500 range is still a fair price. The age hurts it worse than anything else.

For what it's worth, my dad just unloaded a 94 Ranger that's in about as good of shape cosmetically, with just a tick under 200k for $2500.
